Dispersants & Thickeners
The list comprises of a number of carbomers for applications such as creating hair gels and serums, emulsion stabilisation and thickening any water based formulation.
The list also contains acrylic based associative liquid thickeners that when the pH is raised to above 7 they will clear, thicken and often suspend particles.
There are a number of complex polymer shear thickeners that do not require the use of neutralisers. They simply require the application of shear to thicken. There are both anionic and cationic in this range.
The anionic polymer thickeners can be used to stabilise emulsions such as creams or lotions.
The cationic thickeners can be used to thicken fabric softeners or hair conditioning treatments.
Within this section are a number of thickeners and dispersants that are used in industrial and household cleaning products to give the higher viscosities that consumers require.
